Our purpose is to preserve the culture and traditions of Indigenous communities, and we found a way to unite that mission with the love we have for our pets.
We currently partner with artisans and leather craftsmen from the community of San Juan Chamula, Chiapas, and aim to expand into other artisan communities to include diverse cultures and artisans' textile processes in our pet accessories.
For us, it is important to share more about what truly exists behind each product.
In Mexico, there are 68 Indigenous groups, representing 11 linguistic families and 364 dialectal variations.
In Chiapas, where the community we collaborate with is located, specifically in the Highlands of Chiapas, the region is characterized by a strong Indigenous population. Of the region's total population of 601,190 inhabitants, 408,958 speak an Indigenous language, representing 68% of the region’s population.

Handicrafts are a social and cultural treasure of Indigenous peoples. Through their art, they carry centuries of history, knowledge, and traditions expressed in artisanal techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation since pre-Hispanic and colonial times.
The reality today is that artisans often face various challenges:

How can you support?
- By valuing artisanal work and paying fair prices.
- By avoiding haggling that diminishes hours of labor and ancestral knowledge.
- By learning about the origin of the products you consume.
- By sharing and promoting projects that work directly with communities.
- By choosing brands that promote fair trade and transparent relationships.
